週末的中央公園除了來散心、做日光浴的紐約客與觀光客外，更是充滿運動的人—慢跑、騎單車、打球等等，好不熱鬧。

特別是夏天，中央公園有著各式活動進行著，最受歡迎的就是免費的音樂會和歌劇表演。今天和朋友約好到公園著名的船屋餐廳用餐，這裡的特色是旁邊就是湖，可以邊用餐邊觀賞其他人在湖裡划船。生意超好的船屋竟然要排隊等一個小時，但是裡面的景緻確實是值得等待。

餐點方面算是中高價位，早午餐(BRUNCH)大概都要16-20元(未稅不含小費)，但是賣像都很不錯，也滿好吃的。
